Class 5 Trip to the Airport and Air Ambulance

27th February 2015

Monday 23rd February 2015

Dear Parents,

Newquay Airport and Air Ambulance Trip

Friday 27th February

The children in Class 5 on Friday 27th February will be visiting Newquay Airport, looking around to see what happens when you check in for your flight and what happens to your bags and at security. They will then go to the Air Ambulance Station where they will have lunch and be shown around the helicopter and how the crew are able to do their job. They will need to wear school uniform. Please bring a small rucksack in order to take their lunch with them. School will provide a packed lunch for your child. Please let a member of Class 5 know if you would prefer to do your own packed lunch or write it on the permission slip. Please remember to pack a drink and a coat in your child’s rucksack.

The PTA has very kindly offered to support this trip with a £100 towards transport costs. Please can we ask for a voluntary contribution of £3.00 to cover the remaining balance of the bus and to provide a small donation to the air ambulance to support the fantastic work they do?  Please complete the permission slip over and return to school by WEDNESDAY 25th FEBRUARY.

Yours sincerely

Lisa Chapman
