SPACE DAY

Next Monday the school will be going ‘Space’ mad with a day full of space workshops for the whole school.  To create an atmosphere the children if they wish can come to school in space outfits, dressed as Aliens, we will leave that to your imagination but perhaps a roll of tin foil may come in handy!

 

BIG BREAKFAST

Just an update following the very successful cooked breakfast last week after deductions for produce we made a grand profit of £175.67.  This will go towards our garden funs to buy plants and pots for hanging baskets in the front playground and for the planters and wall beds in the infant playground.

 

DELAWARE CAMP

Just a few places left for Delaware Camp in May for the children in Class 2.  If you would like your child to go please send in a £10.00 deposit.

 

ISLES OF SCILLY

Places are filling up for Class 1 residential trip to the Isles of Scilly in June.  If you would like your child to go on camp please send in a £10.00 deposit on receipt a camp card will be sent home.

 

SEUSSICAL - TREVIGLAS PERFORMANCE

Last few tickets available for the production of ‘Horton Hears a Who’ at Treviglas Community College on Tuesday 7th and Wednesday 8th February starting at 7.00.pm  Tickets can be booked by phone or via college reception or email them on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Class 1 will be going to watch a performance on Tuesday morning.

 

JASON THOMAS

Jason will be starting his ‘Hip Hop & Street Dance Classes’ at the Village Hall as from next MONDAY 30th JANUARY. Classes for 4 to 7year old is from 3.30 to 4.30.pm and for the 8+ age group from 4.30 to 5.30.pm.  If you are interested please contact Jason at the studio direct on 01872 262358.

Do you qualify for Free School Meals?  To qualify you must be in receipt of one of the following benefits.  PEOPLE RECEIVING WORKING TAX CREDITS CANNOT APPLY FOR FREE SCHOOL MEALS.

COLD WEATHER

During this cold spell please make sure that children come to school with outdoor coats and are wrapped up warm.  It is quite cold in the base of the village with heavy frosts.

 

CORNWALL AIR AMBULANCE

Are celebrating 25 years as the UK’s First Air Ambulance with a 10k run around the inside of the perimeter of Newquay Airport, through hangers, pass the terminal building on SUNDAY 25th MARCH.  If 10k is too much for little legs then there is a 4k run.  It should be a fun day if families can make up teams.
