CHRISTMAS FAIR
What a fantastic evening and well done to the marvellous leadership of our PTA Chair Lady, Gill Cooper and the great support of the PTA committee. They raised the great sum of £2073.43, this includes match funding from Barclay’s Bank of £728 -thanks to Maria Turner and Jenny Eccles. Thank you to everyone who turned out in such awful weather to support this event.
We have two draw prizes still not collected if anyone sold a ticket to these people can you collect their prizes for them:- Grant-Robinson of Tredragon Close and Craig of Polwhele Road, Newquay.
AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS NEXT WEEK
There will be NO Football, Netball, Art, Infant Sports, Knitting or Pottery next week. These will resume in the Spring Term on TUESDAY 10th and WEDNESDAY 11th JANUARY.
PLEASE NOTE
There will be no After School Club with Mrs Hutchings on the last day of term THURSDAY 15th DECEMBER.
THE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE
Any late returns even if you are not interested can still be sent off and earn school commission so please RETURN YOUR FORMS by Monday. The more forms returned the more money school can earn.
CHRISTMAS POST BOX
The Christmas Post Box is now situated outside Reception for the children to post their cards to each other in school. The Year 6 children will deliver them to each class during a lunch break on Monday. Wednesday and Friday. Please make sure that your child writes the name and the class that the card is for.
CHRISTMAS BINGO
This Sunday in the Village Hall SUNDAY 11th DECEMBER ‘eyes down’ 7.30.pm
POTTERY CLUB
Pottery Club starting in January with Helen Tooley. There are only 12 places available so it will on a first come basis. Cost is £45.00 for ten lessons. The children who had attended this term have made so many beautiful pieces and had such fun, not just for girls there are two boys who love it. Don’t miss out on this popular club few places left.
PTA WREATH MAKING
Next TUESDAY 13th DECEMBER at 7.30.pm in the Village Hall ‘Make Your Own Christmas Wreath’. Only a few tickets left now, cost £10.00 to include all materials for a fantastic door wreath.
JUNIOR CHRISTMAS TREAT
The children in Classes 1 & 2 will be going to Newquay Cinema as their Christmas Treat on WEDNESDAY 14th DECEMBER. School uniform and a packed lunch please.
INFANT CHRISTMAS TREAT
The children in Classes 3 & 4 will be going to find Santa in his Grotto at Lappa Valley also on
WEDNESDAY 14th DECEMBER. School uniform and a packed lunch please.
OUTDOOR COATS
Please make sure your child comes to school with adequate outdoor clothing for playtimes especially with this wet and windy weather.
ISLES OF SCILLY
Camp cards are available if parents of children in Class 1 would like to start making payment. All children need to pay a deposit of £10.00 before Christmas to secure a place. We have approximately 23 school weeks before camp so if you saved £10.50 per week the camp would be paid for by 15th June!
APPLICATIONS FOR RECEPTION PLACE 2012
Please remember if you have a child born between 1st September 2007 and 31st August 2008 the forms must be returned to County by 15th January 2012.
