Joining Mawgan-in-Pydar School

Parents/carers considering their child’s enrolment are invited to telephone to make arrangements for a visit. Early enrolment is appreciated as this helps us with planning and avoids disappointment.

Where classes are full, priority is usually given to children living within the school’s designated area. Admission criteria are decided by the local authority. Our average class size is 28 pupils, with a normal maximum being 30 students.

Children living outside the designated area will be admitted if there is sufficient space. Parents who may be refused a place can appeal via the Schools Section at County Hall. A full copy of the admissions policy is available for reference on request.
